The armed attack on the offices of the Evrensel newspaper in Izmir is yet another attempt to terrorize them and silence their militant, combative, revealing voice. It is the work of the far-right parastate, which has the full cover of the Erdogan government and state mechanisms.
Fascist attacks of this kind will not achieve their goal. The journalists and workers of Evrensel and the comrades of EMEP will not bend and will not retreat in the face of blackmail and terrorism. They will continue to support the just struggle of the working class in Turkey.
